Why are you speaking in slow mode?
How is the electricity made? I mean yeah this made everything else much clearer but what I wated to know was how wind turbines actually generate electricity..
congradulations, i just used you for my 7th grade science homework!
BUT HOW DO THEY TURN THE WIND INTO ELECTRICITY?
Is it a cooincidence that your playing man who sold the world or are you implying something here?
haha great to help me in my geography lesson ^.^
is it only one turbine supply electricity to only one building?
Very cool

Yayy nooow i can do mah homewahk
Nice technical animation on the individual generator.
But for wind generation to actually “work” and provide a renewable power source it needs to provide very stable, steady-state power or be able to store the energy. There is no storage solution that would allow it to replace fossil fuel plants. In fact, wind is DIRTIER than fossil fuel alone.

Expensive to erect, and then there’s the maintenance

haha what happens when theres no wind ? you have to keep the turbines spinning so the bearing dont seize which ( in Austrlia case) you use coal energy %60(at best) of the time to keep the turbine spinning. kinda dumb if you ask me
Gimme with the man who sold the world piano version right now
nice vid
thanks, now i can do my homework
using this for my electricity and electronics test!
It helps!!
:)
im using this for my science project
very true!
@joezasada
remember there are more than one video to use for your science fair project
@LivGirl321
im gonna use this for my science project
this is a great help for my Science Project!
I’m using this for my geography CCA
Purchase your own wind turbine kit or parts for your Sovereign independence. Don’t be a slave to the electric companies. 1500 Watt all inclusive turbine kit for about $1,500. Go Soveriegn! We have everything from charge controllers to Inverters. visit Sovereign’s Depot @ sovdepot.com
is it me or is the wind turbans making the landscape like ugly
god bless wind power
@leamyelectricinc1 I wouldn’t say solar is now. It’s still a freaking expensive energy. But wind, yes. The price for wind power can now competes with coal.
Wind and solar power is now. Green energy is about using all the sources not just one. Wind, solar, and hydro work great when used in harmony. Think outside the box and do your part.
It’s good to discover information about new things
I’m doing a project for my school, thanks for uploading
Wind farms??? Why would we want more wind?? Its fuckin windy enough :0(
I noticed alot of them were not turning, what happens then? yeah a real smart move.
Yeah, let’s have cows shitting a mile a minute, sucking up natural resources. Screw these flatland-hillbilly fools! Blow baby, blow!
@Secretsofsociety okay so looking further I realize there many companies that own these so its not thousands for the 439Watts its still hundreds spanning miles….
Look up austin energies website. 1 of their coal plants 600MW, 1 of their nuclear plants 400MW, 1 large natural gas power plant which powers austin texas 926MW, thousands of wind turbines spanning miles and miles 439MW….

That’s it? Was there anything more to the rancher next door the didn’t like them? He just doesn’t like them because of the little red lights on at night? I don’t think that’s enough of an argument to be against them…..he should be happy they’re pumping money into the local economy. And if the subsidies run out it still leaves the local community in a better position if they hadn’t even shown up. This Rancher must be mad for another reason.
I think those turbines are beautiful. It wouldn’t bother me a bit to see them all over my area.
Does CBS SUNDAY MORNING show you all the Bald Eagles, Hawks and Geese that fly into these wind turbines and get chopped to pieces? CBS. The Communist Broadcasting System. Yes, Green is the new Red.
So glad the 2nd most populated state in the USA are investing so much in green energy.
according to what Ive read, they set a deadline for a certain amount of energy to be ran by renewable energy, and they beaten that deadline BY 15 YEARS!
I dont remember the number of watts of energy was the deadline, but its amazing they were able to beat it.
why is everything bigger in Texas? love green power ideas at work. thanks

@windturbinesinc I just HAVE to ask: Since when are the US an advanced country ???
@TheTrey360 I don’t see any horns on him, so I guess that explains the purple shirt (“Only steers and queers come from Texas…”)
I dont like the purple cowboy.
…did he say wind turbans?
Also I’m pretty sure west Texas isn’t a nation.
…did he say wind turbans?
Landscape!? Is he one of those “Ranchers” who just buys up land for the sake of having it? No crop or cattle? Those people have no cattle and just let their land go to waste. This is progress. Powering the people of Texas. I myself live close to the coast so I’m going into hydrogen and solar. Either that or cyber security. All good though.
@cole3454657 Are you stupid msnbc isnt a greenpeace news agency and they cant just lie.. it showed the nuclear water coming out.. you cant fish anywhere near northern japan.. Heres a fact for you the windmills after the earthquake are still standing and are picking up the slack after the broke nuclear power plant. Windturbines are perpetual nuclear energy is for cheap morons like yourself. Germany is shutting down 95% of its nuclear power plants for windmills..
